जेएनयू छात्रसंघ के अध्यक्ष पद पर लेफ्ट के उम्मीदवार एन. साई बालाजी (2161 वोट) की जीत हुई है। उपाध्यक्ष पद पर लेफ्ट की सारिका चौधरी (2692 वोट), महासचिव पद पर लेफ्ट के एजाज अहमद राथेर (2423 वोट) और संयुक्त सचिव पद पर भी लेफ्ट उम्मीदवार अमुथा जयजीप (2047 वोट) की जीत हुई है। बता दें कि वाम समर्थित ऑल इंडिया स्टूडेंट्स असोसिएशन (आइसा), स्टूडेंट्स फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडिया (एसएफआई), डेमोक्रैटिक स्टूडेंट्स फेडरेशन (डीएसएफ) और ऑल इंडिया स्टूडेंट्स फेडरेशन (एआईएसएफ) ने इस बार यूनाइटेड लेफ्ट गठबंधन के तहत एकसाथ चुनाव लड़ा। वामपंथी छात्र संगठनों के अलावा अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद (एबीवीपी), भारतीय राष्ट्रीय छात्र संगठन (एनएसयूआई) और बिरसा-आंबेडकर-फूले स्टूडेंट असोसिएशन (बापसा) के उम्मीदवार भी चुनावी मैदान में थे।
